Stories In Our Community
Our clients graduate at age 22 with much optimism from the TLC program at COC. Those that are then able to get a job in the community, average 10-15 hours per week. Many of them enjoy participating in Special Olympics. Unfortunately practices are only an hour and a half per week. Very occasionally a friend will call, but transportation and supervision are always an issue, so they have little social life. They rarely go to the movies or see friends. Our clients spend most of their days and nights wishing there was something to do. Boredom is common, so they watch lots of television and play video games alone at home.
There are literally hundreds just like our clients in the SCV who desperately need your support to improve their quality of life through the services of LETMESAIL, Inc.
Did you know that nearly 20 percent of the population has disabilities? Did you know that 40% of these men and 50% of these women are unemployed? These people should not be ignored. They deserve a quality life and your donations will be used here in the Santa Clarita Valley to help provide the services they need to live productive, meaningful, and happy lives.
Please take a moment and contribute what you can to support the mission of LETMESAIL. Your dollars will truly make a difference in the quality of life of the differently abled and will help develop further programs for more eligible clients. You may designate your gift for a specific purpose or you may donate to the general funds. Thank you so much.
I cordially invite you to view a short slide show of the programs here in the SCV that have helped improve the quality of life and build a better future for our differently-abled. Please click on
Sincerely,
Gary Spindt, President
