TESTIMONIALS

Lillian Suede, mother of Jereth,
"Wonderful job like usual.  Jereth has raved about his experience (Mammoth Camp) from the moment he arrived home.  I am so thankful for all of your planning, hard work, and especially taking the initiative to navigate such a wonderful group like LETMESAIL!"

Jeanine Kennedy, sister of Sarah Seibt, "I was recently in Calif. visiting my sister, Sarah Seibt and our parents.  I had the great privelage of meeting this fabulous group.  I look forward to a lengthy relationship with your organization.  Thank you for all you do, and God bless you all."

Lise Parcells, mother of Miki Sziklay, "My son was a new client the night of Cupid's Ball.  He had such a GREAT time! I took some pictures and a couple of short videos on my digital camera and he watches them everyday.  So, on Miki's behalf, I would like to ask for more dances!  The ASB student peer volunteers really made a difference in keeping everyone involved and on the dance floor!  Kudos to you (Kristel) and everyone at LMS.  You're doing a great job and I look forward to Miki becoming more involved in the future."

Joseph Schwartz, father of Daniel Schwartz,
"Thank you for having these events. Daniel enjoys and very much looks forward to them.  As his parents, we see these as helping to fill a major gap in his life, and we hope LETMESAIL will be around for a long time."

Alison Ogunleye, mother of Akin Ogunleye, "I have to say, on a personal level, I don^t think Akin will ever forget it (American Idol Night). He lives, eats, and breathes Tom Jones (we^re not sure why?), but for him that was just a total night of his expression of Tom^s music and to have a crowd to perform in front of, well, it was beyond compare. Thanks for making a memory that will last a lifetime for Akin (and by way of video) for our whole family. Thanks always for all the work you do for the kids in this valley."
Alison also states this about the Rose Parade on January 1, 2007,
"Dear Gary and the Let Me Sail Program,
Our family just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the Rose Parade this morning.  Just a beautiful day and we loved the "Star Wars" entries and the fiery dragon float the best.  Everything went so smoothly with our wristbands and a great parking spot.  It was a breeze and the seats were just incredible.  Akin was so happy to share the event with his sister home from college and his Dad home from Africa.  Super, super family day for all of us.  We just wanted to thank you all for making it possible.  Please thank Don Zennie for us.  He made it all come together with great directions and advice.  Super job.
Thanks again for a wonderful experience.  Happy New Year!"

Jeff and Lisa Lavelle talk about Jamie and Alison, both clients of LETMESAIL,   "The Rose Parade was wonderful, Thanks for the opportunity to go....Jamie and Alison were really enjoying everything."

Pat Coskran, father of Sean Coskran, "Sean is isolated. He needs to have things presented to him. There are a lot of different programs here for him."

Maureen Spindt, mother of Janelle Spindt, "There are so many things no one tells you about, such as being eligible to apply for Supplemental Security benefits. There^s just no manual on raising a differently-abled person."

Brenda McCullough, parent of 33 year-old Scott Tucker, "Our people need to be able to go to a safe place not on the streets. That to me is a big thing, knowing I can drop Scott off and leave for a few hours."

Jean Puckett, mother of 22 year-old Jessica, "We^ve become a much better family because of Jessica. We^ve been introduced to people we would not have ever had contact with. It^s really enriched our lives."

Gary Spindt, President, LETMESAIL, "With my other kids, I see a future. It^s a given they^ll go to school, get a job, get married, have family. When you have a child with special needs, that vision is taken away from you. You^re worried if you^re not around, what^s going to happen to them?"

Mark Oborne, father of Alex Oborne, "My son really enjoys the program activities.  Thank you."
